Campus PR Rep - Communications Working Group Session 1

Our goal is to generate solutions for some of the challenges we face when talking about campus website management and general campus communications.

Thank you to our group participants.  Your work ensures we will target and meet our communications needs at the campus and district level in Spring Branch ISD.

Key Issues

Sites are not updated with information parents want.

If social media is being used - it needs to be accessible on campus site and managed by campus PR Rep. Is this happening? Why or why not?

Opportunities for building campus/community culture are being missed because news and other stories are not being posted or shared. Missed opportunity for District Communications Office to pull top stories to showcase beyond campus community.

Teacher pages are not being utilized, and instructional resources are not posted or listed for transparency and access. Is transparency a benefit? What tools or resources could be used to replace the current teacher page model in use?

Brand Review - The Dual Language Program

Below are logo samples for the newest program of choice in SBISD, The Dual Language Program.  The tagline included with these logos ties the program to the larger branding umbrella of 'choice' for families in Spring Branch.

The SBISD Communications Department is currently working on  marketing and brand materials for CHOICE, which will include the finalized logo for the Dual Language Program. If you need additional help, contact the SBISD Communications Department.
